A test painting for what eventually became Galaxy Road, this piece probably has my favorite color palette I’ve used in the beginning of 2024! These jewel-like pinks, purples, blues and greens are so vibrant and really do remind me of candies.

This painting is a particular favorite of mine because while the overall effect shows a lot of satisfying precision, up close you can see that this painting was made with my hands… some slightly bumpy lines here and there, some tiny paint splotches that didn’t quite make it within the lines, and a little bit of watercolor bleeding between some of the layers. All the details that make each original painting truly one-of-a-kind!

  • Original paintings ship free within the US. If you are located outside of the US and are interested in purchasing an original painting, please email me (orders@carriechan.com) and I can provide a custom shipping quote depending on where you are located.

  • Please remember that each original artwork is painted by hand, and although I do paint in a very precise, technical style, I like to leave any “imperfections” in the painting as it’s a reminder to myself and to you that these are all hand-painted! “Imperfections” may include tiny paint splatters, painting slightly “outside the lines”, paper surface imperfections, etc. and are all captured as best as I can in photos in each product listing. By purchasing any original artwork, you are acknowledging these “imperfections” and are agreeing to love them as much as I do :)
  • While I make every effort to represent the artwork digitally as close to the original as possible, please allow for slight color variance due to the differences in computer monitors.
